Applying for Financial Aid
The Basics
Financial aid is monetary assistance to help you meet the expenses of going to college. Your financial aid offer may include one or a combination of loans, grants, scholarships or employment opportunities.
Your aid will be determined based on a combination of your cost of attendance, your expected family contribution (EFC) and your financial need.

Understanding the Verification Process
A percentage of FAFSAs are selected by the Federal Processor for a review process called Verification. The school is required to collect documentation in order to verify what has been reported on the FAFSA. If you have been notified that you have been selected for verification and have questions on what to do next, see this guide.
