How Do I Submit An Official Transcript?

The Office of the Registrar accepts official transcripts for the purposes of posting transfer credit/courses to the Marquette record and/or verification of degree/diploma/certificate completion from another institution. Official transcripts are electronically delivered to Marquette University via a secure 3rd party method that has been verified by the issuing institution or printed on security paper and delivered to Marquette University in an envelope sealed by the issuing institution. All other transcripts are considered unofficial and will not be accepted or processed. Once an official transcript is received by the Office of the Registrar, the transcript will be submitted for review to the college/school office of the primary major/degree of the student and the college/school will determine what courses and credits are transferable to Marquette.

Undergraduate Students

If you are a current student who needs to submit a transcript from another institution for transfer credit and/or readmission purposes, request to have your transcripts sent electronically to registrartranscript@marquette.edu directly by the issuing institution or through a secure third party service used by the issuing institution. 

Electronic transcripts are preferred and recommended, but paper transcripts may be directly mailed by the issuing institution or a third party service to:

Health Sciences professional

Current or former readmitting Marquette physical therapy or physician assistant studies students should submit transcripts to the Office of the Registrar at the addresses listed above.

Graduate School

Current or former readmitting Marquette graduate students must submit all materials to the Graduate School.

Graduate School of Management

Current or former readmitting students must submit all materials to the GSM.

School of Dentistry

Current or former readmitting students must submit all materials to the School of Dentistry.

Law School

Current or former readmitting students must submit all materials to to the Law School.
