ABOUT THE OFFICE OF THE BURSAR
The Office of the Bursar produces semester bills, processes student payments and credits student accounts with financial aid. Semester bills include tuition, housing charges, and other applicable fees.
Students who register by May 15, 2025 for the summer term will receive an electronic billing statement on May 16, 2025. Payment of tuition, university housing, meal plans, and other course fees for the summer is due in full by June 17, 2025. Marquette University does not offer a payment plan during the summer. Students whose account reflects that the payment has not been made, or that are otherwise delinquent after June 17, 2025 will have a registration, transcript, and diploma block placed on their accounts.
The summer semester is billed separately from the traditional fall and spring terms, and the tuition for summer cannot be paid using fall semester financial aid. Please reference both the Office of the Bursar withdrawal schedule and Office of the Registrar academic calendar if you are considering withdrawing from a course. To determine your financial aid eligibility for the summer, contact Marquette Central for more information.
Students who do not intend to return to the university are responsible for dropping classes through the CheckMarq system and notifying their respective college office.
