We Energies Marquette University Scholarship
The We Energies Marquette University Scholarship was established at Marquette University in 1959 through an endowment set up with the university by a past president of Wisconsin Gas. It is designed to assist students who are sons or daughters of current or retired We Energies (or associated WEC Business Services) employees. The scholarship award amount for the 2024-25 academic year is $3,000 and is non-renewable. Students must reapply annually to be considered.
Students wishing consideration for this scholarship must meet the criteria below and submit both an online application and a 2024-25 CONSENT TO RELEASE FORM.
Eligible candidates must:
- Be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at Marquette during the 2024-25 academic year.
- Current students must be in good academic standing with the university.
- Have demonstrated financial need by filing a FAFSA for the 2024-25 academic year.
- Be a son or daughter of a current or retired We Energies (or associated WEC Business Services) employee .
Please note: students receiving tuition remission or full-tuition scholarships are not eligible for this award and/or the We Energies Daughters and Sons Scholarship program.
