Dr. Gary Adams – MiM Director

MiM Course: People Analytics

Gary A. Adams is a Professor of Management and Director of the Master in Management program.   His research interests include older workers and occupational health.  He has made professional presentations at national conferences such as those sponsored by the American Psychological Association, the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the Academy of Management. He has published two books, several book chapters, and a number of articles in journals such as Personnel PsychologyJournal of Applied PsychologyJournal of Occupational Health PsychologyJournal of Organizational Behavior, and American Psychologist. Dr. Adams has served as a consultant with a variety of private organizations such as the Eaton Corporation, Affinity Health Systems, Kimberly Clark, and Alto Dairy, and public sector organizations such as the Department of Defense and the National Center for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, the Academy of Management, and was recently named fellow with the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

Dr. Manoj Babu

MiM Course: Program Capstone

Dr. Babu has worked in engineering and management for Citation, Case New Holland and Daimler-Chrysler.  He has formal training and experience in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Operations and Continuous Improvement.  He is also experienced in leading cross discipline teams, training, strategic planning and development.

Dr. Kristie Rogers

MiM Course: Negotiations (MANA 6125)

Dr. Rogers’ research focuses on respect and identity at work. She is especially interested in how workers thrive in the face of challenges around stigma, disrespect, and tensions that are difficult to resolve, and specializes in exploring these challenges through qualitative research in unconventional work settings.  Her research is published in top management journals and she has partnered with local businesses and Fortune 100 companies for workshop offerings and consulting projects. Dr. Rogers is the recipient of the John P. Raynor, S.J. Faculty Award for Teaching Excellence, Marquette University's highest teaching honor.  She is also the 2022 winner of the college-wide Brennan Master Teacher Award based on her past ten semesters of student evaluations, and is a 2022 Marquette University Faculty All-Star.

 

Dr. Jennica Webster

MiM Course: Inclusive Leadership (HURE 6535)

Jennica Webster’s research focuses on the types of workplace relationships, climates, and processes that impact the experiences, health and wellbeing of women and traditionally disadvantaged groups.  In addition to her scholarship, she has consulted on applied projects related to diversity climate, the implementation of diversity initiatives, and the evaluation of diversity initiatives on business outcomes.  Dr. Webster previously served as Director of Marquette University’s Institute for Women’s Leadership.

Michael Grubich

MiM Course: Human Capital Strategy (HURE 6590)

Michael Grubich is also President and Managing Partner at LAK Group, a consulting firm that works with leaders to transform business goals into human strategies. He is a seasoned Human Resources executive with more than 25 years of global business experience including thought and operational leadership roles at Aurora Healthcare, CNH Industrial, Kohler Company, and Jockey International. Outside of work, Michael serves as the incoming Board Chair, Board of Directors for Special Olympics in Wisconsin.


Dr. Jay Caulfield

Dr. Jay L. Caulfield’s research interests include contemporary leadership, ethics, organizational change and social system networks.  Prior to working in academia, she worked in health care administration for over 20 years, where she served in various administrative roles, including president and CEO, vice president, and board chair for a state health care association. She is a recognized expert in the field of blended teaching and learning, having won recognition for teaching, research, and consulting in this area.

Dr. Iva Vurdelja is a scholar-practitioner, organizational change strategist, and certified executive coach. She has worked with Fortune 500 companies and public sector leaders to develop organizational and personal transformation strategies. Her practice focuses on the impact of adult cognitive development on leadership capabilities for creating innovative, socially conscious, and purpose-driven organizations. Currently, she advises leaders in global organizations and government agencies on building inner capabilities for leading in complex environments, engaging in dialogue with diverse stakeholders, articulating clear vision and purpose, orchestrating large-scale change initiatives, making effective decisions, promoting well-being at the workplace, developing leadership talent, fostering innovation and building winning teams.
