Banking Program Washington DC Trip

Students in Finance and especially those in the Commercial Banking Program are offered the opportunity to go to Washington DC to visit with representatives from banks and those who influence monetary policy each autumn.  They also learn about internship opportunities in DC.  2024's trip involved visits to the American Banker's Association, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, and meeting with member of Congress.  The intent is for students to see the bigger picture surrounding the banking industry.
