Impact Movement

The Impact Movement at Marquette is a place where you can be with other Black college students and make connections, grow spiritually, and pursue justice for our community together. We are a community where every student involved in Impact is challenged to enthusiastically embrace and critically understand their ethnic identity as integral to the ministry of the Gospel on campus, in the community, and throughout the world.

Weekly Discipleship Groups - Virtual

This year, we will have weekly discipleship groups where we will bond and create lasting relationships, explore what the Bible has to say about topics like racial injustice, our Blackness, stewardship, doubt, suffering, and a lot more and grow together as leaders and students on campus.

Monthly Large Groups Meetings feat. Prominent Speakers - Virtual

Every month, we will have speakers like Jemar Tisby, best-selling author of the Color of Compromise: The Truth about the American Church’s Complicity in Racism, and the Black women of the Truth’s Table who are psychologists, theologians, and activists come share with us about what the Good News (gift offered to us by God) is to Black College Students, and our CEO and President of the Impact Movement, Jimmy McGee, who is also a Marquette alum.
