Morgan Phelps joined Marquette University in 2020. She is the Founder and CEO of Colorful Connections, a social enterprise and diversity recruiting and retention firm. Colorful Connections helps leaders create inclusive workplace cultures, while supporting the advancement of professionals from historically marginalized communities.   Beyond serving as a change agent for diversity and inclusion, Morgan has more than 15 years of experience working as a Communications Specialist. A Chicago native, Morgan graduated with a MSJ from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, and a B.S. in African-American Studies, Theater and Politics from Oberlin College in Ohio. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, The Gathering Spot, and TEMPO Milwaukee.
