Housing Information

The Office of University Apartments and Off-campus Student Services assists Marquette students in their search for apartment housing on and around the Marquette campus, or in the Greater Milwaukee community. There is a wide variety of housing options for graduate students and families to explore. On-campus apartments fill up quickly, so if you are interested in living on-campus, we recommend you begin looking as soon as possible. Here are a few options and resources to help get you started with your search:

University-owned Apartments

The University Apartments website highlights University-owned apartment buildings, which feature a variety of furnishings and amenities and offer the convenience of making payments through one's Bursar account. Applications can be completed online via the 2024-2025 Apartment Waiting List Application section. We do have limited availability at this time and are happy to talk you through our options! There is no fee to apply and no security deposit required.

Other Apartment Options

The most comprehensive website for viewing specific housing units in the near campus neighborhood is College Pads. This independently-managed site provides listings of most properties available within the Marquette Neighborhood area. There are opportunities to find roommates and subleases on the site as well.

The following apartment complexes and rental companies recently participated in recent Marquette Admitted Student Day events. While Marquette does not have specific agreements with any of these companies, you may wish to explore their offerings:

As with any search, we encourage you to vet options thoroughly before committing to any arrangements. Be sure to inquire about furnished vs. unfurnished options, pet-friendly units, parking, and transportation to campus.

Additional Housing Resources

The Off-Campus Housing website offers useful information on safety, budgeting, and campus and community resources. If you are looking for housing outside of the immediate Marquette area, our staff can also assist in narrowing your search within the greater Milwaukee community.

If you need assistance with your search or have questions about the Milwaukee area, please feel free to contact our office at muuaocss@marquette.edu or 414-288-7281.
