Our First Feature Length Film

September 2022

Dear Diederich alumni, family and friends:

I'm excited to share this newsletter with you as we are focusing on a new project, a feature length film entitled "Diffraction." Kris Holodak, associate professor in digital media, wrote and directed this film which has allowed our students to gain invaluable hands-on experience in all aspects of filmmaking from pre-production to sound and lights to acting. In addition, we introduce you to alumna Jenna Santoianni, executive vice president and head of development at Paramount Television at Paramount Pictures.

I often say that communicators are storytellers, and the creative work done by our faculty, students and alumni does just that. This entire endeavor was possible with the help of alumni. If you would like to learn more about "Diffraction" or ways you can support future projects like this, please reach out! In the meantime, I'm proud to give you the first sneak peek.
