LA Experience from Diederich College on YouTube.
LA Experience allows select Digital Media students in the Diederich College of Communication to meet and learn from Marquette alumni who have built successful careers in the entertainment industry. Students travel to Los Angeles and participate in activities under the guidance of Dr. Amanda Keeler, Assistant Professor of Digital Media and the program's faculty mentor.
A typical LA Experience trip includes a taping of E! News and office tour, a Universal City Walk, a visit to Sony Pictures, participation in a live taping of The Price is Right, a table read of a Modern Family episode, a tour of the set at Twentieth Century Fox Television and networking with alumni at the Marquette Entertainment and Communications Alumni reception event.
Eligible students must be senior Digital Media majors or Digital Media juniors planning to graduate in December, 2020.
In this Medium Publication, some students who participated in the immersive L. A. Experience share their impressions of their trip.
The video above includes footage recorded by Brian Mohsenian, a Marquette University alumnus who earned a minor in digital media and graduated in 2016.
