Distinguished Alumnus of the Year Award
Christopher G. Goller, Bus Ad ’90, Grad ’95
Franklin, Wis.

An unbridled energy and passion for commercial banking has propelled Chris’ success in the industry: He was just 44 when he was named Wisconsin regional president for PNC Bank. His passion stems from the way he views a banker’s role. “My No. 1 professional goal,” he says, “is to help people live and operate at their highest possible level.”

 

Professional Achievement Award
Mark W. Boutelle, Bus Ad ’87, Grad ’91
Lake Villa, Ill.

As a group president running a group of six divisions at global manufacturer Illinois Tool Works, Mark is at an elite level of corporate leadership — an accomplishment he attributes in large part to his formation at Marquette and “the support and encouragement of those around me.”

Cathy says she believes everyone has the opportunity to Be The Difference through service to others, “whether that means bringing fresh water and medical supplies to rural areas in Africa or cleaning a park in your town.”

An accomplished tax partner at a leading national accounting firm, Shawn was recently recognized by Washingtonian magazine as a top tax accountant in the Washington, D.C., area. In addition to his career success, he has made service to others a priority.
