Faculty Externship program

The Faculty Externship Program is a competitive 2- to 4-week immersive summer experience that provides a pathway for new interactive engagement between Marquette's faculty and external partners (corporate and community). The Office of Economic Engagement collaborates with external partners to identify an opportunity, develop a project outline and establish mutually beneficial outcomes. The program can be undertaken virtually, hybrid or in-person.

Participation timeline

April

  • Company identifies project and completes request form.
  • Marquette completes internal application process.

April-May

  • Faculty meet with company sponsors.

June-August

  • Externship commenced and completed.
