My goal is to teach nurses and nurse practitioner students, while also continuing to be a practicing Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. My practice and teaching are founded on evidence based guidelines, while maintaining high quality and cost-effective care. Special areas of focus include patient/family centered care and end-of-life care in the intensive care unit.
