Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Provider of Care: The baccalaureate graduate will enter professional nursing practice prepared to use sound clinical judgment in the delivery of high quality, safe, compassionate care.
- Leader of Care: The baccalaureate graduate will advocate for social justice to eliminate health inequities, and lead change to improve health and the health care environment.
- Member of a Profession: The baccalaureate graduate will function effectively as an inter-professional and community team member.
Master of Science in Nursing
- Use data and analytical processes to discover, critique, and/or synthesize nursing knowledge for the continued improvement of nursing care across diverse settings.
- Integrate pertinent theories, research and other evidence, as well as patient and population perspectives to guide master’s level nursing practice
- Effectively use varied modes of communication, informatics and technology to promote safe and high-quality patient care.
- Initiate, maintain, and promote intra- and interprofessional collaboration.
- Demonstrate leadership in ethical and clinical decision making using a system’s perspective.
- Provides culturally appropriate evidence based clinical prevention and population health to individuals, families and aggregates.

Uniforms
College of Nursing students may have uniform requirements based on their academic program. Undergraduate nursing students, Direct Entry MSN students, and Nurse Anesthesia DNP students will receive specific information from their program advisors regarding their uniform needs. All College of Nursing students who have uniform requirements or need uniform pieces can order directly through Cintas. Uniform guidance can be found in your College of Nursing Student Handbook. Exact garment sizing can be found here. To order, proceed to www.cintas.com. Select "Shop" and then select "My Company Store". When prompted, enter the MyCintasID, "Marquette". Navigate to the left panel and select "School of Nursing". Browse the options using the fitting guide to select the best fit. Check out through the shopping cart.
