• Decalcified histology, undecalcified histology, microradiography, and high-resolution radiography
• Explant analysis of spine arthroplasty devices, spine arthrodesis devices, and spine biomaterials
• Mechanisms and clinical uses for osteoinductive substances and materials
• Tissue Engineering, which is applicable to dentistry as well as orthopaedics
