Fees

Full-time Marquette undergraduate students are assessed a mandatory per-semester student health fee ($180.00 per semester) as part of their tuition and fees. The health fee covers unlimited office visits, some laboratory studies and reduced prices on additonal services. See below.

Graduate, professional and part-time undergraduate students have the option to pay the per-semester health fee ($180) anytime during the semester to save costs. The health fee covers unlimited office visits, some laboratory studies and reduced prices on additonal services. See below.

If you chose not to pay the per semester health fee, you can still utilize the Medical Clinic on a fee for service basis. Office visit fee is $75 per visit, please note additional fees may be assessed for other services. 

F-1 and J-1 international students and scholars are required to enroll in Marquette’s international student and scholar health insurance plan. Students and scholars should use the Marquette University Medical Clinic as their primary source for medical care. 

Services at the Marquette University Medical Clinic are covered, including office visits, labs, in-house pharmacy, vaccinations and more. The Medical Clinic will bill your UHC Student Resources International insurance for services provided in the clinic.

If you are referred to or choose to use an outside facility such as a specialist, urgent care, emergency room or private doctor, you are responsible for any payment for services obtained at these other facilities. Take a copy of your insurance card with you. Before you go contact your insurance company to determine which facility is covered by your insurance.
