Wisconsin Art Destinations

We’re thrilled to be coming together with our fellow art museums around the state to highlight the truly remarkable artistry that is around every corner in Wisconsin.

Wisconsin Art Destinations is an assembly of 16 art museums working together to raise the profile of the State of Wisconsin as a destination for the visual arts by inviting visitors and neighbors of all backgrounds, inclinations, and levels of interest in art to explore and experience the State’s art museums and surrounding areas.

Located among Wisconsin’s vibrant and charming communities, each of the Wisconsin Art Destinations museums capture the State’s unmatched culture of fierce independence and originality through exceptionally curated and immersive art experiences. Devoted to igniting a sense of discovery within each visitor, the goal of the collective is to increase attendance across all of the art museums, while highlighting the individuality and uniqueness each brings, encouraging visits to multiple art museums during one trip.

Wisconsin Art Destinations is comprised of the following art museums: Art Preserve at JMKAC; Bergstrom Mahler Museum of Glass in Neenah; Charles Allis Art Museum; Chazen Museum of Art in Madison; Haggerty Museum of Art in Milwaukee; John Michael Kohler Arts Center in Sheboygan; Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in Wausau; Madison Museum of Contemporary Art in Madison; Miller Art Museum in Sturgeon Bay; Milwaukee Art Museum in Milwaukee; Museum of Wisconsin Art in West Bend; Paine Art Center and Gardens in Oshkosh; Racine Art Museum in Racine; Rahr-West Art Museum in Manitowoc; Trout Museum of Art in Appleton and Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum. Together, we’re proud to be elevating and investing in the power of art and encouraging visitors and neighbors to “travel beyond their horizon” to experience all the arts and culture Wisconsin has to offer.
