Career Courses
The Career Center offers a twelve-week, one-credit course:
Career Exploration (MARQ 1040)
Career planning is an important step toward academic success and job satisfaction. This course is designed to help students assess their interests, skills, values, and personality characteristics, as well as, investigate career possibilities, and learn how to use a wide variety of resources in their career search. Students will participate in self-discovery activities, learn about sound career decision making strategies, and learn about the world of work. This course is directed at first-year and sophomore students who are deciding on a major and exploring career opportunities.
