Inspired by a movie she saw as a child, Mary has always known she wanted to be a physical therapist. These days, she prides herself on being a positive catalyst for change in the ever-evolving health care landscape.

In Glen’s 25-year career as a pathologist, he has learned two things: Marquette excellently prepared him to be a laboratory medical director, making him “hospital savvy,” and excellently prepared him to be a leader with his staff, whom he says are his extended family.

Karene has worked for 20 years not only as a physical therapist in a number of settings, but she has also served the people of Tanzania through multiple mission projects, including recently founding ZeruZeru Inc. to help people who live with albinism.

Nine years after graduating, Karen still draws on her Marquette experience daily as a pediatric speech-language pathologist at Chicago Speech Therapy, a speech therapy practice she founded where she’s passionately committed to making a difference in the lives of children.
