The new Lemonis Center for Student Success (LCSS) serves as a central hub for academic resources and provides holistic support to help you thrive at Marquette. Our virtual and in-person Ask Me Desk is the place to start when you have questions or need help and don’t know who to ask! We also house the Career Center and the Academic Resource Center (ARC) to make it easy for you to access essential services such as academic coaching, tutoring, guidance choosing a major, or exploring career paths and career-related experiences. And don’t forget to check out our engaging programming and activities, open study areas, commuter lounge, and technology-enhanced reservable rooms that makes it easy to learn, socialize, and collaborate with others.
The Ask Me Desk is the heart of the Lemonis Center and serves as a first point of contact when students are not sure who to ask questions or where to get guidance during their journey at Marquette.
Tutoring is a free service available to all Marquette University students. Our programs offers support for select freshman and sophomore courses (1000 and 2000 levels) that have historically been challenging subjects for students.
The Marquette University Career Center partners with undergraduate students, graduate students, and alumni to provide guidance for choosing a major, exploring career paths, engaging in enriching career-related experiences, preparing and searching for internships and jobs, and, ultimately, pursuing lives with purpose.
Our academic coaches provide students with semester-long academic support in areas such as time management, procrastination, test preparation, and note-taking and reading strategies.
Founded on our Catholic, Jesuit principles, The Lemonis Center for Student Success embraces a holistic approach to student success. We believe all students can flourish and thrive at Marquette with the right support. Our mission is to provide wraparound services, engaging programming that fosters a sense of belonging, and coordinated access to a caring campuswide network of support for students across all majors, academic abilities, and backgrounds.
The LCSS is to one of the most transformative convening spaces for student growth, where students feel welcomed and rooted in a vibrant and intentional culture of mentorship and engagement that supports student formation from first day to first destination.
