MilwaukeeWI53201United States of America(414) 288-5667wendy.krueger@marquette.eduWendy received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin—Parkside in 1987 and became involved in research on language development. She received her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Marquette in 1992, while simultaneously obtaining clinical experience in head injury rehabilitation. She worked as a speech-language pathologist in various clinical settings, including acute care, outpatient rehabilitation, elementary schools, home health care and private practice. She joined the clinical faculty at Marquette in 1998. Wendy has experience with both children and adults, developing expertise and passion in the areas of dysphagia, cognitive disorders, and language and social communication disorders associated with autism spectrum disorders.
As a clinical associate professor in the Marquette University Speech and Hearing Clinic, Wendy supports undergraduate and graduate students in their clinical work with clients of varied ages and disorders. She has worked to develop increased opportunities to work with children with special needs, including children with social communication disorders.
