About The Anthropology Society

The Anthropology Society is a community for students to share their academic interests in the field of anthropology beyond the classroom. The Society sponsors events for students to learn about research and career opportunities from faculty, alumni, and visiting researchers.

Members

Members are involved in public outreach and education events in collaboration with the Milwaukee Public Museum, the Milwaukee chapter of the Archaeological Institute of America, and UWM.  The group organizes field trips to museum exhibits, archaeological sites, and professional conferences.
