Keith then went on to receive his Master of Science degree in Athletic Training from Illinois State University in 1989.
Mr. Owsley has 35 years of clinical experience at various settings including clinical, high school, collegiate, and semi-professional levels. Additionally, he had a 16-year career as a firefighter/paramedic during which time he also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Science Management from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 1997.
Keith’s area of interest includes acute emergency care in athletic training, as well as critical incident stress management, which both are areas he has presented on at various local, state, and national conferences. In addition to his duties at Marquette, Keith is also involved in state leadership serving on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Athletic Trainers Association. He joined Marquette University as Clinical Assistant Professor and Clinical Education Coordinator in the Department of Exercise Science and Athletic Training in the fall of 2017.
