‘Get to Know’ the ‘Women of the RNC’ at Marquette Law School, March 7
March 5, 2024
MILWAUKEE — Elise Dickens, chief operating officer of the 2024 Republican National Convention, and Alison Prange, chief of staff and senior advisor for the RNC Host Committee, will be special guests for the next installment of the “Get to Know” program series of Marquette University Law School’s Lubar Center for Public Policy Research and Civic Education, on Thursday, March 7, at 12:15 p.m. at Eckstein Hall, 1215 W. Michigan St.
Derek Mosley, director of the Lubar Center, hosts the “Get to Know” series, which is styled as “more late-night talk show than ‘Meet the Press.’” Registration is available online for this free public event. Media wishing to attend should contact Kevin Conway at kevin.m.conway@marquette.edu.
In July 2024, over 50,000 people will come to Milwaukee for the convention, creating an expected economic impact of $200 million in the area. Dickens and Prange will share how planning is coming along, what residents can expect, and why Wisconsin was an important choice as the convention location.
Dickens is a native of Wisconsin and was appointed to her position in June 2023. She has been with the RNC for nearly eight years, including most recently as finance director. Prange is a longtime leader of successful nonprofit organizations nationally and in Wisconsin, and serves as the Host Committee’s top staffer.
Through public programming such as the Marquette Law School Poll, “On the Issues” conversations with newsmakers, public lectures by leading scholars, conferences on issues of public significance, and the work of its Lubar Center for Public Policy Research and Civic Education, Marquette Law School seeks to advance civil discourse about law and public policy matters.
