MMAC senior VP to kick off ‘Get to Know’ Series at Marquette Law School Lubar Center, April 25
April 19, 2023
MILWAUKEE — Dale Kooyenga, senior vice president for the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce, will be the inaugural guest for “Get to Know,” a new program offered by Marquette Law School’s Lubar Center for Public Policy Research and Civic Education, on Tuesday, April 25, at 7:30 a.m. at Eckstein Hall, 1215 W. Michigan St.
Derek Mosley, director of the Lubar Center, will host the “Get to Know” series and envisions it as “more late-night talk show than Meet the Press.” Online registration is available for this free, public event. Media wishing to attend should contact Kevin Conway at kevin.m.conway@marquette.edu.
Kooyenga joined the MMAC in January in a newly created position. He served in the Wisconsin State Senate and Assembly for 11 years, representing the western suburbs of Milwaukee. Kooyenga also serves as a lieutenant colonel in the Army Reserves, is a certified public accountant, and has worked as a chief financial officer for several local companies.
Through public programming such as the Marquette Law School Poll, “On the Issues” conversations with newsmakers, public lectures by leading scholars, conferences on issues of public significance, and the work of its Lubar Center for Public Policy Research and Civic Education, Marquette Law School seeks to advance civil discourse about law and public policy matters.
