Manpower CEO to discuss trends shaping the future of work as featured presenter at Marquette Business Leaders Forum, April 3

MILWAUKEE — Jonas Prising, CEO and chairman of ManpowerGroup, will deliver a presentation on emerging workforce trends called “The New Human Age: Trends Shaping the Future of Work” at the Marquette Business Leaders Forum on Monday, April 3, at 12:15 p.m. in the Monaghan Ballroom at the Alumni Memorial Union, 1442 W. Wisconsin Ave.
A recognized expert on the labor market and future of work, Prising regularly speaks at global events and in the media on employment trends, jobs and skills. He plays a key role in championing ManpowerGroup’s environmental, social and governance strategy and is especially passionate about preparing the next generation with work-readiness skills, accelerating women into leadership, supporting refugees into meaningful work, and delivering on climate action.
Registration for the in-person event begins at 11:45 a.m.; the program will begin at 12:15 p.m. Tickets are $50; corporate and sponsor tables are also available. Registration is available online.
Prising was named ManpowerGroup CEO in May 2014 and chairman in December 2015. He leads all aspects of ManpowerGroup’s $21 billion business across 75 countries and territories worldwide. He serves as global board chairman for JA Worldwide, where he helps JA achieve its mission of equipping more than 12 million young people each year with employment and entrepreneurship skills in 100 countries.
Prising is actively engaged with the World Economic Forum, including as a member of the International Business Council, the CEO Alliance for Climate Leaders, the CEO Action Group for the European Green Deal, the Global Parity Alliance, and CEO Champion for the Reskilling Revolution. He also plays an active leadership role in the Milwaukee business community as a board member and former chairman of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce. He also serves on the board of directors of Kohl’s Corporation (NYSE: KSS).
Established in 1999, the Business Leaders Forum is a speaker series sponsored by Marquette University's College of Business Administration. The forum provides a setting for nationally recognized business leaders to engage in discussions and interact with students, faculty and local business leaders. The program enables Marquette to build practical knowledge into its rigorous business curriculum, exploring current trends, issues and practices in business.
