Marquette University to host Civic Dialogues conversation on “The Future of the GOP” with National Review’s Rich Lowry, Nov. 29

MILWAUKEE — Marquette University’s Civic Dialogues program will host Rich Lowry, editor-in-chief of National Review, to discuss “The Future of the GOP,” on Tuesday, Nov. 29 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Alumni Memorial Union Room 227, 1442 W. Wisconsin Ave. The event will also be livestreamed on the Civic Dialogues website.

Lowry became editor of National Review, an American conservative news and opinion magazine, in 1997. A respected conservative voice, Lowry also writes for Politico, and often appears on such public-affairs programs as Meet the Press. He is the author of “Lincoln Unbound, The Case for Nationalism: How it Made Us Powerful, United, and Free” and the New York Times bestseller, “Legacy: Paying the Price for the Clinton Years.”

Register online by Monday, Nov. 28, to attend in person. No registration is required for the livestream.

The Marquette Civic Dialogues Program works to foster deliberation about the pressing issues facing our world today, prepare students to be citizens with purpose, and advance scholarship on the individual and collective benefits of civic dialogue.
