Panel to discuss “Justice in the Time of COVID” for virtual “On the Issues,” Jan. 22

Jan. 21, 2021

Milwaukee County CourthouseMILWAUKEE — Chief Judge Mary Triggiano of the Milwaukee County Circuit Court; Judge Derek Mosley of the Milwaukee Municipal Court; Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm; and Tom Reed, Regional Attorney Manager of the State Public Defender’s Milwaukee Trial Office, will be featured guests during an upcoming virtual “On the Issues with Mike Gousha,” Friday, Jan. 22.

The video will be available at 12:15 p.m. on the Marquette University Law School website.

The focus of this special conversation, “Justice in the Time of COVID,” will be on the efforts of those in the justice system to carry out their responsibilities during the COVID-19 pandemic. How has the system responded to the many challenges posed by the health crisis? Has justice continued to be delivered in a timely manner, and what lessons have been learned in the last year that could be useful in the future?

The virtual “On the Issues” is available to members of the general public.

Through public programming such as the Marquette Law School Poll, debates featuring candidates in significant political races, Gousha’s “On the Issues” conversations with newsmakers, public lectures by leading scholars, conferences on significant issues of public importance and the work of its Lubar Center for Public Policy Research and Civic Education, the Law School serves as the region’s leading venue for civil discourse about law and public policy matters.
