**Photo/Video Opportunities** National Marquette Day kick-off event is Friday at 6 p.m.

What: On Friday evening, Marquette will kick-off National Marquette Day with President Michael R. Lovell and Head Basketball Coaches Steve Wojciechowski and Carolyn Kieger with a pep rally before the women's basketball game against Providence. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. A fireworks show will take place following the game. There will also be special appearances by the Marquette cheerleaders, dance team and the Golden Eagle at the pep rally.

On National Marquette Day, Saturday, Feb. 3, alumni will gather in Milwaukee and around the world at more than 60 locations, like London, Honolulu and Anchorage, to celebrate Marquette as the men's team takes on Providence at 1:30 p.m. Marquette has more than 110,000 alumni around the world.

When: Friday, Feb. 2, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Where: Al McGuire Center — Parking Lot F, located across 12th Street between Wisconsin and Wells streets.
