WCTC, Marquette University partner to host third annual Cyber Security Summit

PEWAUKEE, Wis. (Wednesday, October 19, 2016) – Waukesha County Technical College (WCTC) and Marquette University will host the third annual Cyber Security Summit next week in association with the Waukesha-Ozaukee-Washington Workforce Development Board and the Waukesha County Business Alliance. The event is designed to answer the call of state leadership to secure our critical network infrastructure.
The summit will be held from 7:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28 in the Business (B) Building at WCTC's Pewaukee campus, 800 Main St. Attendees will join representatives of government, industry and education to learn what must be done to combat cyber threats. Parallel sessions will dive deep into the technical aspects of cyber security, while panel sessions will discuss trends and required actions to build awareness.
The summit is recommended for anyone interested in strengthening their cyber security defense, including CEOs, CIOs, small business owners, IT security decision makers, IT professionals, nonprofit leaders, educational partners and local government representatives.
There is no cost to attend this event and a light breakfast will be provided.
