Marquette University’s guiding value of service - developing men and women in the struggle for a just society - is evident through our community engagement, efforts through service and partnerships with local agencies.
Marquette Community Day of Service, formerly Hunger Clean-Up, is our largest and longest-running day of service. Since its beginning in 1989, over 34,000 students, faculty, staff and alumni have served with community partners in the city. Marquette Community Day of Service is one of the many ways we can connect with our mission and with Milwaukee through service.
Marquette Community Day of Service is open to all members of the Marquette community. By serving, you can increase awareness, support and allocate resources for local nonprofits.
