Events statement

Events held at Marquette University

As an institution of higher education, Marquette University encourages its community members to be active participants in the political process. At the same time, as a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization, Marquette must remain nonpartisan to ensure its university resources are not used for or against any candidate for public office, political party, referendum, or ballot initiative. Maintaining the university’s 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status ensures the university and its students continue to be eligible to receive federal and state grants and other sources of financial aid.
