  • During my first year on campus, I’d like to strengthen the relationships I’ve developed since being part-time and continue to build new relationships with faculty and staff throughout the college of nursing and university.
  • I’d like to connect with colleagues interested in reducing disparities in maternal and child health and strategies to improve health promotion. 
  • I’d like to learn more about how to connect with our surrounding community to support and improve health outcomes.

  • During my first year on campus, I’d like to learn (1) more about the Marquette university and its environment, (2) familiarize myself with the variety of programs and corresponding curriculum offered at Marquette, and (3) enhance critical thinking, social justice awareness, and application of knowledge for Marquette nursing students.
  • I’d like to connect with colleagues interested in education and research around social justice.
  • I’d like to learn more about (1) making connections with partners within the neighboring counties and states regarding advancing nursing education and (2) opportunities for research regarding implementing social justice within the curriculum.

  • During my first year on campus, I’d like to learn all about what Marquette has to offer to everyone including students and myself. I also would like to immerse myself into the College of Nursing and uphold the tradition of “cura personalis”.
  • I’d like to connect with colleagues interested in dementia education and research. 
  • I’d like to learn more about the support and resources available to new faculty and nurse educators. I also am interested in learning about Marquette’s community partnerships as well as with the local healthcare organizations. I look forward to learning and working alongside nationally recognized faculty and researchers.

  • During my first year on campus, I’d like to establish and nurture relationships with my colleagues, students, and potential collaborators across campus.
  • I’d like to connect with colleagues interested in respite care, caregiving issues, supporting families of children with special healthcare needs, and advocating for systems change to eliminate health inequities. 
  • I’d like to learn more about resources and opportunities at Marquette to support early career researchers.
