Machine Shop (DL167) – The machine shop is supervised.
Turning: Turning, boring, facing, threading, tapers, reaming, and knurling.
Milling: Slotting, squaring, boring, drilling, reaming, polishing, and cutoffs.
Hot Work: TIG, GMIG, SMAW, Spot welding Oxy-acetylene, torch cutting, shaping, bending, brazing, heat treating and spot welding.
Sheet Metal: Shearing, rolling, brake, bending, filing, forming and slitting.

Metrology and Assembly (DL125)
Measurements of profile, run out, endplay, micro-finish, flatness, and the associated tolerances are all part of the Discovery Learning Laboratory.

Large Projects Lab (DL113)
The Large Projects Lab (LPL) supports large activities like welding painting, sanding, grinding and so forth. The LPL allows us to help student clubs like Solar Boat, SAE, and ASCE concrete canoe competitions excel.
Electronics Lab (DL121)
The Electronics Lab supports all student activities involving digital and analog circuitry. It is managed by an Electronics Technician who is available for student consult and student project assistance.
