Small group tutoring and individual tutoring on a need by need basis is available Monday through Friday on the second and third floor of Coughlin Hall during the fall and spring semesters. Tutors are available for all pre-college courses, Marquette freshman and some sophomore level courses by request. Sessions are scheduled to meet at least once per week for one hour per tutorial.

Become a Tutor

To be considered for a paid tutoring position you must:

  • Have received an AB or better in the classes(es) you wish to tutor
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Be at least a Marquette University sophomore (not including sophomore standing as a freshman)
  • Have at least 2 hours of availability per week.

We hire most of our tutors for the year during our fall semester. Students interested in becoming tutors should contact margaret.cinto@marquette.edu for more information. EOP Tutors will be required to attend an information session prior to tutoring EOP students.
