A&S Student Ambassadors

College of Arts and Sciences student ambassadors are dedicated to sharing their first-hand experiences of college life.  They are passionate about Marquette University and want to share their “why.” 

Who are our Student Ambassadors?  They are current students – sophomores, juniors, seniors – representing a variety of undergraduate majors and who engage in clubs, internships, research and activities. Student Ambassadors are eager to connect with prospective students to share key insights into life and learning at Marquette.

About Me: Hi my name is Jordan! I am a junior at Marquette where I major in Biological Sciences and Environmental Science with a minor in Chemistry. In my free time you’ll probably find me watching movies with my friends or working in the Bee Lab where I study if honeybees can learn temperature! After I graduate, I hope to go on to graduate school where I can work on conservation projects, and then go on to do research for animal and plant conservation efforts.

About Me: Hi my name is Serena! I'm a senior majoring in physics and minoring in mechanical engineering. I am a passionate STEM student who chose Marquette because I wanted to be in the city of Milwaukee! I have found a great community here at Marquette at the physics department and at the clubs on campus. I've been extremely involved in a service engineering club called Engineers without Borders as well as restarting the Physics Club after the pandemic. I am also very passionate about teaching! I am a Physics Lab Teaching Assistant and an Engineering Tutor. Looking forward my goal is to go to graduate school and get my PhD in Experimental Physics. Outside of school, you can find me exploring Milwaukee's coffee scene and going to fun Milwaukee festivals!

I absolutely love Marquette due to the amazing internships I have gotten being in the heart of Milwaukee. Coming from a low-income background, I could never have imagined I would have the chance to do things like work for Senator Baldwin or take classes in the graduate school. About Me: Hi, my name is Jozette, and I am a junior studying psychology and neuroscience. I chose Marquette because I really fell in love with Milwaukee and felt like I could see myself attending here. I have grown as a person, friend, and student since coming here. At every step of the way I've had peers and mentors there to encourage me or even give me a reality check! I work at a lab as a research assistant, and I am super excited. It has led me to make even more connections and will provide important experiences for my future career as a neuropsychologist.

About Me: Hi! My name is Kai, I am a senior majoring in Physics and Spanish Language, Literature, and Culture. Long story short I chose Marquette because of the people, throughout my whole application process people from Marquette reached out to me about additional opportunities like the Honors Program, and then the MU4Gold Program. All along the way people were so nice and open, no other school I applied to was close to that. I plan to pursue a PhD in Astronomy in the future and I hope to work in observatories around the world and teach. Marquette has opened the doors for me to pursue both research and teaching as an undergrad.

About Me: I'm Veda and I'm a sophomore at Marquette. I'm a part of the Pre-Law Scholars Program to go to Marquette Law School in 2025! After completing Law School I plan on going into either a private practice firm or becoming a state prosecutor. I've been figure skating for around a decade and have competed all over the world, including Austria and Sweden for Team USA, and have been a part of the MUFSC for the past two years. You can usually find me in the campus Starbucks doing homework or sitting outside the business building hanging out with my friends. Outside of school, I enjoy going out to dinner and exploring new restaurants, basketball games, and going to Bradford Beach!
