The Time to Act is Now

Join with hundreds of your fellow alumni and friends of the Marquette University School of Dentistry to help us raise the final $3.2 million needed to equip the expansion.

Dental School BuildingThe walls are up. The expanded class of 100 students is in place. Now we must build on this tremendous momentum and secure the equipment and technology that will allow us to educate our students and serve the community in the most professional manner. The goal is within reach, but we need your help to get there!

Have your name included on the donor recognition wall that will be located prominently in the Marquette School of Dentistry atrium by making a gift or pledge of $5,000 or more.

For more information about additional donor recognition opportunities or to arrange a tour of the new addition, please contact Dave O’Neill at david.oneill@marquette.edu or by phone at (414) 288-6048.

Dean's Circle Reception

More than 175 alumni, students, and friends gathered on September 20 in the Robert and Judith M. Sullivan Atrium at the School of Dentistry for the Ninth Annual Dean’s Circle Donor Recognition Reception. The purpose of this popular reception is to recognize and acknowledge the generous support of our fiscal year 2012-2013 donors.

Circle Reception

Membership in the Dean’s Circle simply requires a gift of $1,000 or more to any fund or program at the Dental School. In the last year, more than 300 alumni and friends made donations that ranged from $1,000 to $1 million. Those gifts were used to fund everything from the dental school expansion, scholarship dollars for our students and an endowed professorship in orthodontics to critical unrestricted funds for the Dean.

If you have any questions about the Dean’s Circle please contact Dave O’Neill at david.oneill@marquette.edu or (414) 288-6048.

American Student Dental Association - Staying Active

Marquette ASDA has continually set the bar for local community involvement in the activities and services they plan. From participating in the Briggs & Al’s Run & Walk For Children's Hospital to teaching kids about oral health during after school programs, we’ve not only impacted the lives of those in our communities, but have also shown how Marquette University School of Dentistry represents itself on a national level. Our chapter has outdone ourselves this year, and with the help of our hardworking committee chairs and members, Marquette ASDA has blazed the trail for other chapters to follow. With the popular “Amazing Dental Race” that we held earlier this semester, Marquette ASDA has gotten wide social media attention from not only national ASDA but also other chapters around the nation.

To keep up to date with all the happenings of our local chapter, please check out our newly redesigned website, follow us on Facebook (MarquetteASDA) and Twitter (MarquetteASDA). With the popularity of social media and the benefits of utilizing them, #MarquetteASDA has been and will continue to trend around the nation!

St. Ignatius Legacy Society

The St. Ignatius Legacy Society's goal is to recognize our alumni and friends who have demonstrated their commitment to the future of Marquette University through an estate provision or planned gift. Our knowledge of your planned support allows us to guarantee it is put to use in accordance with your wishes.

Scholarships, resources for dental faculty and facilities, funds for mission in faith and justice — all are part of the Marquette legacy, and you can help us sustain it. We invite all our planned giving donors to join our St. Ignatius Legacy Society.

If you have included Marquette and/or the School of Dentistry in your estate plan, be sure to let us know. We will acknowledge your generosity and goodwill personally. Your gift does make a difference! Whatever its size — we truly appreciate your thoughtful generosity and commitment to the future of Marquette University!
