Pamela Brilowksi

PAMELA SUPLICKI BRILOWSKI,
DENT HY '84

Waukesha, Wis.

“For what you give, you get three times back.”

If those words, spoken to Pamela Suplicki Brilowski by her mother when she was young, are true, then she has a lifetime of good will upon her.

For 24 years, Pamela has been helping people succeed, as a teacher — something she has known she has wanted to do since grade school — and as a coach, mentor and volunteer.

Educators are, according to Pamela, “the gatekeepers to their professions,” a responsibility she takes to heart as dental hygiene program director for Waukesha County Technical College. “Not only am I able to give back to my profession as an educator, but I also help others thrive in a line work I am truly passionate about,” she says.

Pamela is also passionate about Marquette. She played on the women’s basketball team, met her husband on campus and served as president of the College of Health Sciences Alumni Association in 2008.

Professionally, she is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and American Dental Education Association and is a lifetime member of Sigma Phi Alpha, the national dental hygiene honor society. She serves her community by volunteering as a Christian formation teacher, CPR instructor, Student American Dental Hygiene Association adviser and coordinator for the Head Start screening program. Pamela also developed a sealant program for Waukesha (Wis.) Public Schools and is a licensed EMT.
