DSA

Dear students, parents, and community members:

Reflection and solitude are an important part of life. Equally important are the connections we make with the people who touch our lives. Friends, faculty and staff members, clergy, and family are people from whom we can draw comfort during times of trial. Marquette is a close community of people who care deeply for the world and its sufferings. This is implicit in our mission.

As we continue to develop into men and women who are for and with others, let us not lose sight that the phrase cura personalis also applies to ourselves. Physical and mental well being are integral to a healthy spirit and a discernment of faith. There are many people and support systems available on this campus, but it is essential that we as individuals are active in this process and seek out what we need to get through difficult times.

Please take advantage of the many resources Marquette has to offer.

Sincerely,

L. Christopher Miller, J.D., Ph.D.
