A capstone seminar is a course that integrates and is designed to bring reflection and focus to the entire undergraduate experience requiring the disciplined use of skills, methodology and knowledge learned throughout the curriculum of a major or minor, usually culminating with a research paper or project.

 

The senior seminar for INIA majors and minors offers students the opportunity to integrate the classwork from their common requirements in economics, political science and history along with their four concentration course and additional disciplies to explore prominent issues in international affairs.

 

Topics vary from year to year. The capstone seminar combines extensive readings, lecture, class discussion and student presentations.  Prereq for INIA 4997: Sr. stndg. and INIA major or minor.
