The Diederich College of Communication invites all alumni of Marquette student media, including former staffers of the Marquette Tribune, Marquette Journal, MUTV, Marquette Radio (WMUR), Student Media Advertising and the Hilltop to return to campus March 3 – 4, 2017, to celebrate 100 years of the Tribune, 40 years of MUTV and more than 400 combined years of student media at Marquette.

4:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. — Student Media Mashup: Open House & Reception
(Johnston Hall, 1131 W. Wisconsin Ave.)
Tour your old stomping grounds, visit with current student media staffers, view plans for remodeling student media spaces and connect with students, faculty and classmates. Appetizers and light refreshments will be provided by the College of Communication.
Parking: A limited number of free spaces will be available in the lot behind (south) of Johnston Hall and Gesu. More parking will be available in Structure Two at 12th and Wells (120 W. Wells St.) and at Structure One at 16th and Wisconsin (749 N. 16th St.). Pay upon entry for $3 before 5 p.m. and $5 after 5 p.m. There are cash and credit options but the machines process cash more quickly.

11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. — Student Media Madness: Pre-Game Gathering (Sold Out)
(The Newsroom Pub, 137 W. Wells Ave.)
Get warmed up for the Marquette-Creighton game with an indoor tailgate party at the Newsroom Pub, home of the Milwaukee Press Club’s world renowned collection of journalist and celebrity signatures and photos. Burgers and fixings provided by student media.
This event is now sold out. We encourage those who were unable to respond for the Newsroom Pub event to gather at Rock Bottom Brewery (740 N. Plankinton Ave.), which will also serve as a game-viewing venue for those who are not going to the Bradley Center.
Parking: Street parking is a good option, but there are also plenty of parking structures in the area – three at Mason and Jefferson streets and one each by Rock Bottom Brewery, the Milwaukee Center, and BMO Bank.
1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. — Basketball Game: Marquette v. Creighton
(The Bradley Center, 1001 N. 4th St.)
Watch the Marquette Golden Eagles take on the Creighton Blue Jays! Tickets to the game are required and can be purchased here.
6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. — Social and Centennial Dinner (Registration Closed)
(The Wisconsin Club, 900 W. Wisconsin Ave.)
Reconnect with old friends and celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Tribune, the 40th anniversary of MUTV and the extraordinary legacy of student media at Marquette. Tickets are required and can be purchased here. For dietary restrictions or concerns, please email Christine Brown.
Parking: Valet parking will be provided for guests. Use the back entrance to the west of the Wisconsin Club on N. 10th St. (one way street heading north).
