Ignation Leadership & Discernment Minor (IGLD)
The Ignatian Leadership and Discernment minor is designed for students who aspire to be a person of integrity, adaptability,with a deep sense of mission.

Required courses include:
- THEO 3280, The Life and Teachings of Saint Ignatius of Loyola
- THEO 3290, Spiritual Excercises of St. Ignatius
- THEO 3986, Internship in Theology (completed over a two terms, Junior year)
Rooted in our Catholic, Jesuit commitment to a faith that does justice, this program blends theological reflection, ethical decision-making, and hands-on experience to shape leaders who can navigate complexity with wisdom andclarity. A defining feature of the minor is the transformative two-semester journey through the Spiritual Exercises, offering a rare opportunity to develop profound self-awareness and a discerning approach to leadership. Whetheryou're pursuing a career in business, education, healthcare, or nonprofit work, this minor equips you to serve thecommon good for God’s greater glory in any field. There are three required courses and several elective options forstudents to help grow and deepen their foundation of Ignatian Spirituality.
