    Teaching Assistant Professor

    Theology Department

    Jon Metz has taught both in Theology and Social Welfare and Justice at Marquette specifically courses in Foundations of Theology and Social Welfare and Justice, Catholic Social Teaching, Vatican II, Christian Discipleship, and Service of Faith and Promotion of Justice. 

    Jon holds a doctorate in Leadership with a research focus on parish leadership. Jon also holds masters degrees in both ministry and social work. In addition to his teaching schedule, Jon has served in many pastoral roles including campus minister, adult formation, and family formation minister.
