Call for Proposals AJCU CELP 2023

Please consider submitting a proposal for a presentation for the 2023 AJCU CELP Meeting that will be held at Marquette University, May 30 – June 1, 2023! Proposals are due March 1, 2023 and should be emailed to Isabelle Jenkins (ijenkins@holycross.edu), either as a Word document or PDF.

 

Proposal Themes:

Rather than focusing on one theme, this year, we encourage session proposals focused in six key areas (based on responses from the recent AJCU CELP survey):

• Justice-Based and/or Decolonized Models for Community Engagement
• Community Engaged Scholarship
• Student Engagement and Motivation
• Community Partnerships
• The Administration of Community Engagement (e.g., how to grow in number of courses,
  how to work co-curricularly, how to institutionalize community engagement, successes
  and challenges of community engagement, etc.).
• Mission, Faith, and the Universal Apostolic Preferences

All proposals are strongly encouraged to integrate interactive dialogue and participant activities.
Collaborative presentations among institutions are also encouraged, as well as presentations
featuring scholarship focused on the aforementioned key areas. Note that sessions are 60
minutes.
