Emergency Grant Aid funds are available to assist Marquette University students who experience a financial emergency or unanticipated expense that causes financial hardship. This funding is meant to help in emergency situations that may affect a student’s ability to continue their academic progress. Our goal is to provide students with emergency grant aid to reimburse emergency expenses and help continue their academic journey at Marquette.

Staff there can address all issues including crisis counseling, injuries, STI testing and treatment, pregnancy and the gathering of physical evidence, as well as referrals for further care. On-campus food pantry that provides groceries and necessary toiletries to any Marquette student who is having difficulty accessing affordable, nutritious food and other essential household items. After registering in person, students will be able to shop for a few days-worth of groceries including fresh produce, frozen meat and non-perishables and additional personal products. There are no requirements to use this free and confidential resource and no student will be turned away.

A university sexual violence victim advocate is available to provide immediate and ongoing support and assistance for victims of sexual assault, relationship violence, stalking or sexual harassment. The advocates are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and are just a phone call or an email away. Advocacy services is a confidential resource, which means that they will not report what you share with them to the Title IX Coordinator.
