Miah was born and raised in Iowa. She attended the University of Northern Iowa and graduated with a Bachelors degree with a Biomedical Emphasis. She then went to Midwestern University and graduated with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. Miah worked as a medical scribe in an emergency department prior to physician assistant school and completed two emergency medicine rotations during school strengthening her passion for emergency medicine.


Miah is excited to be doing this fellowship to better prepare herself to serve the patients in her community. She is looking forward to learning advanced procedures and builder her knowledge as a provider. Miah is eager to work in face-paced environment and care for patients with various levels of acuity.

In her free time, Miah enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, reading, and taking her dog for walks. She and her boyfriend like to attend Iowa Hawkeye and Green Bay Packer football games.
