Mercedes “Sadie” Land, PA-C, MPAS: Postgraduate Fellow

Mercedes Land

Sadie is from Frankfort, IL and completed her undergraduate studies at Marquette University in 2018 with a major in Biomedical Sciences and a minor in Health Studies. During her time in college, she volunteered at a NICU in downtown Milwaukee and also volunteered at the VA assisting veterans with technology support. She attended PA school at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL.

Before starting PA school, Sadie worked as a medical scribe at Advocate Christ Medical Center in heart failure and transplant cardiology. She has special interest in working with underserved patient populations, specifically in urban settings. Sadie is passionate about emergency medicine because it gives her the privilege to help patients in their most vulnerable moments, the ability to perform procedural skills, and the opportunity to work efficiently to diagnose and treat patients' medical concerns.

Outside of medicine, Sadie's interests include music and concerts, riding her bike in the city, and exploring different neighborhoods in Chicago.
