Elizabeth Mikelonis, PA-C, MPAS: Postgraduate Fellow
Ellie grew up in the Milwaukee area and obtained her bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences at Marquette University. While in undergrad she obtained patient care hours working as an ER technician at Aurora Sinai. Where she then earned her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Marquette University (2024).
As a technician, Ellie learned that oftentimes emergency medicine acts as a proxy for primary care offices in underrepresented communities due to a lack of health insurance, health literacy, and other disparities. Regardless of the chief complaint, Ellie believes that every patient deserves an empathetic healthcare provider who is inclusive, non-judgmental, and willing to provide high-quality care under any circumstances.
In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants, cheering on the Marquette basketball team, running, and spending time with friends and family. Ellie plans to remain in the local Milwaukee area and continue to work in emergency medicine.
