Elana Schlansky, PA-C, MPAS: Postgraduate Fellow

Elana Schlansky

Elana is a recent graduate of Midwestern University’s PA program. Prior to PA school, she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Denison University in Granville, Ohio.

Originally from Boston, she had the opportunity to work as a Patient Care Technician at Mount Auburn Emergency Department, where her interest in emergency medicine began. She also has experience working at an orthopedic surgery hospital in New York City, where she lived prior to starting PA school.

During PA school, she was able to complete two emergency medicine rotations, one at Skokie Hospital and the other at Silver Cross Hospital. She is looking forward to starting her career in emergency medicine, stating “I am excited to build upon my knowledge and provide stability and confidence to patients in the emergency room by being a valuable member of the healthcare team.”
